Standard Sticker Templates for Contagious Graphics. 1. So you want to make your own sticker art? Well here are a few instructions that might help. 2. There are 4 file types available for download (.tif, .psd .png and .eps) A .tif file, .psd file, and .png file can be opened by Photoshop or similar pixel editing program. An .eps file can be opened by Illustrator or similar vector art program. 3. If you don't have any of these programs you can download a free 30 day trial of Photoshop https://www.adobe.com/products/tryadobe/main.jhtml#product=39 You will need to copy and paste the file inside the web area or you can type in http://www.adobe.com and check out the latest downloads and free trials. 4. .tif and .psd and .png template When you open the .tif or .psd or .png file you will have a correct size, 300dpi template. Change the color mode to RGB if you are creating a sticker a sticker that uses color. If you are making a B&W sticker leave the color mode in grayscale. (In Photoshop the top menu has Image > Mode > Grayscale or RGB). OUR .PNG TEMPLATE FILES ARE RGB ALREADY. With the .tif or .png file you can start creating you artwork on top of the template. If you are using the .psd file, there is a layer called "Your Artwork". Select that layer and start working. When you are finished with your sticker be sure to flatten your layers (if you have more than 1. In Photoshop the top menu has Layer > Flatten Image). Then save the file as a .tif file. Do this for both the .tif template, the .png template, and the .psd template. 5. eps template All the Standard Sticker Templates are on the single .eps file. Just delete the ones you are not using. When you are done with your artwork save the file as an eps, illustrator (.ai) or Freehand (.fh) file. 6. Note, some template sizes do not match the sticker size listed (4.25"x1.38" / 5.5"x1.38" / 5.5"x2.13" / 8.5"x1.38"). They are rounded up to the closest 1/4 inch, just use the template size as downloaded. 7. You can rotate the sticker template, for example if you want a sticker that is 5.5" heigh and 1.5" wide or one that is 1.5" heigh and 5.5" wide. 8. If you want to do a sticker with a bleed, this it is not a Standard Sticker. It costs more and you will need to add 1/8th inch around to each side of the sticker. 9.
