How was the winner picked? With a random number generator. Each giveaway entry was assigned a number as they were received and determined by the management to be vaild (duplicate entries from same email address or entry name were deleted).

We used this form from Random.org to generate a randomized sequence of the entry numbers. We plugged in “1” as the smallest value and “1,537” as the largest value (since there was 1,537 valid entries). The 1st number generated in the sequence was the winning entry number.

The numbers generated did not contain duplicates (they're like lottery tickets drawn out of a hat).

THIS GIVEAWAY CONTEST WAS OPEN TO RESIDENTS OF THE UNITED STATES ONLY.
Entries received from other countries were discarded.

ONLY ONE CONTEST ENTRY PER EMAIL ADDRESS AND NAME WAS ALLOWED.

THE BAND OR COMPANY NAME SUBMITTED WITH THE CONTEST ENTRY MUST BE USED IN THE ARTWORK FOR THE PRIZE T-SHIRTS AND STICKERS.

THE CONTEST WINNER MUST PROVIDE THEIR OWN USABLE / PRINTABLE ARTWORK WITHIN 60 DAYS OF THE END OF THE CONTEST (March 5th, 2010) OR THE PRIZE IS FORFEITED.

WINNER WAS RANDOMLY CHOSEN. Each entry was assigned a number in the order that when it was received. Winner was chosen using a random number generator.

WINNER WAS NOTIFIED THROUGH OUR JANUARY 2009 EMAIL NEWSLETTER, and the contest results were published on our web site.

The winner's printed prize will be shipped approximately 2 to 3 weeks after we have received usable/printable artwork.
